Frequently Asked Questions
These are the most common questions i receive, if you have anything further that you are curious about, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page.
• What is your booking process?
All you need to do is decide which type of session is for you and fill out the enquiry form. I will contact you to discuss the details and answer any questions you have. If you decide to book, your session is secured with a $50 deposit and the signing of a client contract.
• Do you require a deposit to book a session?
Yes, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date upon booking. This is inclusive and will count toward the total session cost. For weddings, a deposit of $200 is required.
• How far in advance should I book a session?
This depends on the time of year, but usually at least a few weeks is best. But it’s always worth asking for last-minute opportunities!
• Where are you based, and do you travel for shoots?
I am based on the Central Coast, NSW. I also service the Hunter Valley & Newcastle for no extra cost. Sydney and Port Stephens areas incur a $50 travel fee on top of the session fee. Contact me to enquire about a further distance.
• What is your cancellation policy?
In the event of client cancellation, the $50 deposit will be kept. Clients may reschedule their session at no extra cost.

• What should I wear to the photoshoot?
I want you to be comfortable and feel confident. I can always help with tips such as neutral colours or a colour pallet that flows across the whole family. But in the end, the photos aren’t for me – they're for you!
• Can I bring my dog to the session?
If dogs are legally permitted at the location - absolutely! Just let me know when booking.

• Will the photos be edited and retouched?
The photos will be edited to suit my work’s aesthetic, including colour correction and lighting adjustments. Clutter in the background, dog leads, horse leads, etc. will typically be removed in editing. Retouching of the subjects will not be done automatically, please ask if you would like something about yourself retouched.

• How long does it take to receive the final photos?
A “sneak peek” will be released on Facebook within 48 hours of your photoshoot. Your full gallery will be delivered a maximum 6 weeks after your photoshoot; however, the average turnaround is 1-2 weeks.
• Do you offer prints or albums?
All photos provided are high resolution, allowing you to DIY & print your own art, suited to your own budget.

• Why do you shoot at golden hour?
When you hire a photographer, you hire them because you love their work. My style of work thrives in the golden light before sunset. I always recommend a golden hour session to receive images consistent with my portfolio.
In weddings, this can’t always be helped but due to my experience in wedding photography I know the ins and outs of the big day really well. Therefore, I can give you advice on how to plan the timeline of your wedding to ensure the best light for the photoshoot portion of your day. Just ask!
• What happens if the weather is bad on the day of a photoshoot?
If it is raining, we will reschedule the photoshoot.
• Can I request specific poses or shots?
Absolutely! Bring the Pinterest photos to your session or send them through beforehand, I’m totally open to your ideas - this is all about you!
• How will I receive my final images?
You will receive your images via DropBox. This will include two albums – one for high-resolution, printable photos. There will also be an album of smaller files which will still look great, but will be easier to save to your devices to share to social media.
For weddings you will also receive a custom wooden USB and a keepsake photobox.
• Do you have experience with horses?
Absolutely. I have been around horses most of my life. This allows me to understand when a horse looks its best, there’s nothing worse than getting your photos back and their ears are pinned in every photo. It also means I’m comfortable getting close and personal with your horse to help with their positioning or holding them while you get on, etc.
• My wedding isn’t an elopement, will you still photograph it?
Absolutely! My elopement/essentials coverage is just that - the essentials. Usually, this includes the ceremony, family shots, and the bridal party photoshoot. It’s designed for those who just want the big moments captured, the photos that could make it on the wall, the “essentials”.
• Do you offer newborn sessions?
Unfortunately, newborn photography is not something I offer. This type of session is a specific niche that is best left to dedicated newborn photographers. I do, however, offer family shoots which can absolutely include a newborn. I am fully vaccinated.
• Is Evergreen Photography a safe space for the LGBTQIA2S+ community?
Absolutely! Evergreen Photography is a safe space for all.
• Can I customise a package?
Yes! Just ask.

• Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Just ask. Full payment must be made before images are received.
